Less Pollution

LNG produces less air pollution than other forms of fuel such as diesel.

Due to its low carbon to hydrogen ratio, CNG produces less carbon dioxide than diesel and it has lower NOx emissions.

CNG also produces less particulates than diesel and so provides dramatic improvements in emissions and air quality.

CNG engines are also often much quieter than diesel engines, producing significantly lower levels of noise pollution.

Future proof against a carbon tax

Increasingly diesel and LPG will be faced with higher prices under the carbon tax. As these will come from destinations located further away from users, they will also be subject to additional costs for transporting them to the local community.
